Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the 2023 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises list. Through the procedures of enterprise self-assessment and declaration, municipal review and evaluation, and provincial summary review, Dongying United Petrochemical Co., LTD., Shandong Deshi Chemical Co., LTD., Kangda (Dongying) Environmental Protection Water Co., LTD., Dongying East Network Internet Information Technology Co., LTD., Zhenhua New Materials (Dongying) Co., LTD., Shandong Titel New Materials Technology Co., LTD., Shandong Longgang Chemical Co., LTD., Shandong City Construction Co., Ltd. and other eight enterprises were identified as Shandong Province 2 023 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.

Innovative smes refer to enterprises with a higher level of specialization, strong innovation ability and development potential, which is a part of the gradient cultivation of high-quality smes, and is also the basic force of high-quality smes. In the future, those who intend to apply for the identification of specialized and special new smes must first pass the evaluation of innovative smes.

In recent years, the Dongying Port Economic Development Zone has adhered to echelon cultivation and dynamic management in terms of increasing policy support, promoting technological innovation and innovation, improving science and innovation services, and providing financing support, and has exerted efforts in policy and service, in accordance with the principle of "reserving a batch, cultivating a batch, and upgrading a batch" to create a group of small and medium-sized enterprises with sustainable innovation and competitiveness. Up to now, the development zone has cultivated a total of 24 innovative smes.
